We said our final farewell last Monday
All day glorious sunshine, what a difference this makes.
We have been celebrating his life and playing his music.

So many people came and I have received so many messages and cards too. Heart-warming to know that he was loved by so many and for me to feel that I'm not alone.

Lots to do and sort out but my new life will start taking shape.
The strength he has shown these last years is giving me strength to go on.

Letting go

After 42,5 years together I have had to let my dear David go today.
Letting go was easy in the end as it has stopped him suffering.

Positive

My husband is gravely ill in ICU and he needs all the positive vibes around possible to keep him here and for him to return to a healthy living.

Back home

I have not posted for a while as we have been away to the UK for 2 weeks.
This trip started of by me going to a workshop by Alice Schlein in Devon but it turned into a 17 day holiday.
I was going to show you what I have done during the workshop but it will have to wait as my husband has been admitted into hospital with lung problems after we were back home. So, everything is on hold for the moment as he will have major surgery tomorrow morning.

I will scan my weaving later, it was such a great learning workshop. Specially as I had been doing the sampling with Bonnie Inouy's book this Summer.
I've seen lovely textile exhibitions, more on that later too.
