Letting go

After 42,5 years together I have had to let my dear David go today.
Letting go was easy in the end as it has stopped him suffering.

    Margreet, my heart aches for you. I was catching up on blogs after vacation but never ever expected to find this. It's a worry in the back of my mind given Ian's family medical history. I am so afraid of this experience. I type with tears in my eyes - I am so so sorry.
